I have experienced similar discrimination and conflict of interest within the HCRC. I had submitted 1400 pages of email documents evidencing retaliation at the Hawaii DOE and asked repeatedly for them to subpoena additional prima facie evidence from the DOE. This the investigator failed to do. I have appealed their recommendation of closure with no cause -- for heaven's sake -- I was threatened numerous times verbally and estranged family members were contacted and given my address to write me for some nebulous reason to have me telephone them. Additionally, 500 pages of the 1400 pages I submitted to the HCRC was stolen in the US mail when I had it delivered to a friend who then delivered it to a Hawaii process server. AFter the threats, I feared for my life and left Hawaii -- due to who had threatened me. These Hawaiian KKK have their own little torture methods AND pay off in one way or another the officials they chose to.

Report Says Hawaii Fails to Keep New Teachers

HONOLULU -- A national look at teacher quality gives Hawaii bad marks for not supporting new teachers or retaining good ones, according to the Honolulu Star-Bulletin.

The State Teacher Policy Yearbook said most states do a poor job evaluating and keeping good teachers.


About 2,900 public-school teachers in Hawaii are not considered qualified by the federal government, according to a private consultant.

That means about 22 percent of the state's 13,000 public-school teachers do not qualify under the No Child Left Behind law

The investigation by the Office for Civil Rights of the U.S. Department of E ducation was not a lawsuit and did not involve a money settlement. Instead, the state Department of Education agreed to carry out 26 corrective actions.

The girl was afraid to report the attack because school policy was to suspend anyone in a fight, without regard to who was the attacker and who was the victim.

Dr. Donnis H. Thompson virtually founded
women’s collegiate athletics in Hawaii. She
was one of the individuals who inspired my
authorship of federal Title IX legislation by
highlighting the inequities in funding of women’s
collegiate sports. During her 30 years at
the University of Hawaii, Dr. Thompson pioneered
numerous health and athletic programs.

She served as Hawaii’s first woman
Superintendent of Education, was the first
Women’s Director of Athletics at the University
of Hawaii, and authored the innovative ‘‘Vision
of Excellence,’’ a 10-year blueprint for public
education. Dr. Thompson has been a state
and national leader in promoting girls and
women’s participation in sports and in promoting
civil rights.

Donnis Thompson is the recipient of the Dr.
Martin Luther King, Jr., National Outstanding
Service Award, a member of the University of
Hawaii Hall of Fame, and an Honor Fellow of
the National Association of Girls and Women
in Sports. April 15, 1981 was proclaimed as
‘‘Donnis Thompson Day’’ in the State of Hawaii.
Donnis is a dear friend and one of the
women whose opinion and advice I value
most highly. Today I celebrate her life of
achievement and the positive impact she has
had on improving opportunity for women in
Hawaii.

Each complaint of mine was a matter of my erroneous "interpretation", as stated by management, while my co-workers complaints were valid descriptions of my "misconduct".

As a result of the accusations, I was suspended, without pay, pending an investigation for, I kid you not, a co-worker accusing me of harassing her by clapping my hands and signing "Pink Cadillac", and another saying, I was teasing her when I asked her to say my name and that of the manager, to see if I could distinguish the two. Another says my arm around her shoulder momentarily makes her uncomfortable. The same had hugged me twice before witnesses.






I was terminated in May 2004, two weeks after the dismissal of the EEOC complaint that was not investigated, and a day after informing management that I overheard a co-worker saying to the one that accused me of harassing her by singing, "we're going to show him the power of p----.
